USE OF SMART MINIBAR
Upon arrival, the guest receives the key to his room or the room card, as well as the electronic card for the use of the minibar. You select the desired product using the buttons on the minibar (turned around).
By touching it, the selected product is registered on the card. A product can be purchased with one touch.
The product can then be removed from the shelf. The guest receives all the instructions on the display.
All transactions are recorded on the card, and when the guest leaves, the actual consumption can be read at the reception, the amount of which will be credited to the guest’s account.

The equipment is entirely Hungarian development,
which is under patent protection.
RECHARGE MINIBAR
Filling up the minibar is technically very simple.
The maid or the person entrusted with this task receives a so-called “master card” with which she performs the top-up as follows. By touching the “master card” there, the machine switches to “service” mode. Then the machine’s memory selects the places from which the purchase was made and starts automatically, then stops at the empty shelves and writes out which product should be placed on the given shelf.
The advantage of uploading:
- when uploading, the uploader cannot access the other products
- the quantity purchased from the warehouse
- intended for top-up must match the top-up quantity
- accurate accounting
- hygienic safety
PLACEMENT AS AN INDEPENDENT FURNITURE ELEMENT IN THE ROOM
According to previous hotel practice, the minibar was placed in the furniture, which resulted in a negative experience from several points of view:
- In many cases, guests who do not visit regularly do not even know that there is a minibar service
- The guest does not see the product selection
- In order to avoid losses, the hotel only offers a minimal selection of products
- In connection with the installation, the operation caused many technical problems
